Myself and my business partner started Internet Marketing in January 2009 selling affiliate products initially. As fantastic as this was going, we found it very impersonal and difficult to build any kind of long standing relationship of benefit for our customers. So we started to research other so called 'business in a box' type packages.

The two offers that stood out were Your Net Biz and Carbon Copy Pro. Having researched them both extensively we decided that the overall offer from Your Net Biz with their Platinum package was the right one for us.

We were then overwhelmed by what we received. Our first impressions were "Wow, this is awesome." The back offic suite consisted of nearly 2000 up to date products with resale rights and licences across nearly 90 different niches. The lead capture and sales videos were so professional that it really cemented the feeling of being part of a Professional organization.

There was then the Media Vault which supplied us with up to date webinars and training videos on everything that you could imagine that you need in this industry - building a website, generating free traffic, converting that traffic, getting the most out of facebook and twitter, how to write a sales letter etc. Hours and hours of training which satisfied our hunger to learn.

We were even provided with a personal business assistant who would follow up lead enquiries over the telephone, so we didn't even have to actually do any selling!.

There is a BUT though...the mentor that we had signed up with was of no value to us. Unfortunately we had not researched this part of the business properly and our mentor was only interested in pushing us to just sell the opportunity to others. As he was going to earn up to $500 on every sale that we made I could see why.

When we tried to get hold of him to ask about stuff like the traffic generation strategies that he personally uses, he never returned emails or calls. When we did eventually make contact he was very guarded and didn't give anything away. We had underestimated the importance of the mentor and agreed that the guy we had was actually slowing our progress down so we paid for another Platinum package with someone else. Our affiliate marketing had been going particularly well and so rather than take extra income from it we decided to invest it back into the business.

This time we had researched the mentor properly and things have really taken off. At last someone that shared with us the real tricks of the industry that never gets mentioned in the products that you buy. Stuff that just comes from experience.

So, this is my review of the Your Net Biz Opportunity. The experience is one that has been enormous value. Not only to us but to our newest team members. We now know exactly what is required to be a successful mentor.
